Influence of Motivation to Participate in Corporate Learning on Gaining Individual and Organizational Benefits

Present paper is dedicated to the examination of motivation to corporate learning participation and gaining benefits from training. Nowadays many companies establish their own corporate universities since this is solution to fast and qualified staff training necessity. Motives to participate in corporate training can be different: one employee perceive training as source of the future income or promotion, another see the corporate training process as a source of cognitive satisfaction and self-confidence. Making investments in training organizations are aimed at gaining benefits like productivity increase and job quality improvement. Moreover, companies are also reckon on staff competencies improvement in such spheres as communications, working in groups, leader’s competencies. This research investigates connections between motivation to corporate training participation and training benefits in banking industry. The paper is based on the works of such foreign authors as H. Aguinis and K. Kraiger, D. Kirkpatrick, D. Clark and such Russian authors as O. Aksenova, E. Avraamova, T, Klyachko, D. Loginov and S. Chirkina.
