Factors of Educational Tourism Attractiveness Determination and Evaluation

Rapid development of educational and tourist sectors as well as creation of united European space of the higher education causes interest for many researchers.

People consider a short trip for the purpose of studying of language or education, professional development as an investment in the future and career development and as a successful option of combination of education and vacation.

Educational tourism is one of the most perspective directions of development of tourism in Russia. Even nowadays entrepreneurs involved in such type of tourism face problems of lack of information resources, what direction and what educational tours to develop.

The aim of the paper is to reveal and estimate attractive factors of services of educational tourism to consumers.

Research was carried out in two steps. In the first step we educed posteriori factors of an attractiveness of educational tourism. At the second investigation phase the importance of the revealed factors by means of results of poll is confirmed. Sample consists of 162 respondents from Russia. On the basis of the analysis we can make a conclusion that a part of respondents considers educational tourism as an opportunity to expatriate. Besides, research restrictions are described, practical recommendations for the enterprises operating in the sphere of educational tourism are formulated and the further directions of research are characterized.
