Linguistic Features of Advertisements: Corpus Approach

This graduation project deals with linguistic features of advertising texts. The research was conducted with the help of corpus manager AntConc on the basis of advertising texts from internet resources. Linguistic features of two categories were compared (laptops and mobile phones) on the morphological, lexical and syntactic levels. The research proves the hypothesis that there are a number of characteristic features, which are typical for advertising texts, and describes a number of patterns identified in their analysis.
