Managing Companies Stakeholders: Case Study of the Company «BSR»

Currently, in the rapidly changing world, it is an obvious fact that market share depends not only on the volume of output and trade, but also on the perception of its activities by consumers, the media, representatives of the government, shareholders, employees and others. Consequently, there is increasing concern of business organizations for identifying and developing effective strategies to balance the interests of many diverse groups or constituents. The present study will be aimed at expanding the understanding of the main principles of stakeholder management and its practical implementation. In order to combine and apply a range of already established instruments for stakeholder analysis, a case study of the business school BSR will be employed. Such methods as documentary review, websites investigation, email questionnaires for BSR’s interest groups as well as interview with top-manager, will be utilized as an appropriate strategy for data collection. In addition, systematic way of stakeholder analysis will be presented. It is anticipated that the conducted empirical part will provide detailed description of company-stakeholder interaction strategy. The findings will be used for identifying weaknesses of present stakeholder management approach in the company and for its further improving. Moreover, the results obtained could provide impetus for further research pertaining to the replication of stakeholder management implementation.
