The topic of ethnocultural factors' influence on project activities in international practice is relevant nowadays. Although, unfortunately, we must note that this problem hasn't been largely considered by the authors. In Russia, despite the low level of project maturity, there is awareness of the fact that the project companies are cross-cultural, and need to be managed considering the ethnocultural features of the stakeholders, but still only technical mechanisms of control systems are in the focus of managers. In the Republic of Armenia the level of project maturity, compared with the level in the Russian Federation is lower. Project companies in Armenia are very few, and foreign experts are engaged to carry out any large-scale projects. Thus, the cross-cultural aspect is very important for the correct perception of changes in different socio- and ethnocultural groups. The theoretical framework of the study are the works of Maadi (resilience ratio to changes), Kubler Ross (related to changes), Lewin (model force field), J. Berry, N.M. Lebedeva (cross-cultural studies), Hofstede (cross-cultural studies in management). The hypothesis of the study is that belonging to the Armenian or Russian ethnic group does not affect the attitude of stakeholders to the changes in the projects. The purpose of work is to study the effect of the cross-cultural aspects of the perception of stakeholders of changes in the projects. The object of this study is to project the activities of Russian and Armenian companies of different maturity levels, which relate to the various sectors of the economy. Subject of research is the study of the psychological characteristics of the individual, due to ethnicity and living in mono-ethnic and multi-cultural environment.
