Parental Discourse about ADHD among Children

This research is dedicated to the theme of parental discourse about attention deficity and hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). ADHD is a syndrom, affected children, especially boys who are from 5 to 16.Despite being widespred the cause of this psychiatric disorder in the majority of cases is unknown. In the research presented the analysis of the articulation, nomination and attitude towards this disorder is shown. It examines, how mothers (as a main agent between child and social institutions) articulate the knowledge about this syndrome and reflect the experience. The investigation was carried with materials of parental forum and narrative interviews .
