This is a Bachelor's Thesis on the theme of Transformation of the fairness principle in the Russian sports TV journalism under the influence of the gonzo style. The relevance of this work lies in the fact that over the past few years, the fairness principle in the sports television journalism became transformed. Development of gonzo style in Russian sports television journalism has had a significant impact on the transformation of this principle. In particular, the figure of the narrator and TV commentator began to appear in the first place in sports reporting. Sports event was to acquire secondary. Search and identification of the causes and consequences of the transformation of the fairness principle in the Russian sports television journalism under the influence of gonzo style was the aim of this research work. As a result of the study, the reasons for the transformation of this principle were found. Among them, we have identified sports journalists' rethinking of the TV audience needs, which has an interest in the emotional reports, as well as the development of the blogosphere in the Russian Internet space and the development of a subjective opinion from sports journalists and others. In addition, we were able to make predictions about the consequences of the transformation of the fairness principle, which has led to the fact that the content of a sports journalist became more popular than news and materials about the athletes themselves. As a result of research, we came to the conclusion that the transformation of the fairness principle has led to the fact that the methods of gonzo journalism began to penetrate through the Russian sports broadcasting, began to exert increased influence on the domestic sports TV journalism, and changed the usual the fairness principle in the sports media.
