New Business Project Development

The cultivation of fresh strawberries in the climate conditions of the Perm region is only possible in the summer. At the same time, year-round demand for this product from the catering establishments and large retail chains is satisfied with imported berries. Thus domestic strawberries market is not saturated and there is the possibility of new company entering. The main purpose of this graduation thesis is the business plan development of the organization that is able to compete with foreign suppliers of strawberries on the Perm market. Its achievement was made possible by conducting a survey of potential users, by the analysis of the theoretical aspects of business planning, by the organizational business plan development and calculation of economic efficiency indicators. The business plan of the «ЯгодСад» company specializing in year-round production of strawberries based on the hydroponic technology was developed as a result of this graduation thesis. The proposed business plan will cause interest among potential investors, because its viability proved by the calculation of the most important economic efficiency indicators of the investment project.
