Use of Social Networks in the Process of Personnel Recruitment in Public and Private Organizations

Today, the social recruitment is an actively implemented method in the process of recruitment in business. Social networks offer a lot of new opportunities in searching, checking, fast connecting with candidates, as a rule, this method is free of charge for the employer. However, there is no available information about the use of social networks in the process of recruitment in the public institutions. In the current paper, the possibilities of using social networks in the recruitment process in the public organizations are investigated. The research is based on information received during the interviews in the departments of Human Resources in the public and private organizations, also on comparative analysis of recruitment stages in business and government organizations.
