Evgan T.N. Esports Journalism: Features, Problems, Prospects and Development. Bachelor's thesis. – / Scientific Supervisor Timofeeva O.A. – M:. HSE, 2016 – 127p. This project focuses on analyzing the main trends and the history of E-sports and drawing parallels between them and the development of E-sports journalism. Moreover, the main key features of E-sports journalism are distinguished, along with main problems and perspectives of development. There have been no attempts at creating a full-fledged work like this one about E-sports journalism before in Russia. It is also important to note that Esports journalism is a unique and very contemprorary and multimedia – heavy product which deserves to be researched scientifically. The main obstacle over the course of writing this work has been the lack of valid open sources, thus the main source of information ware expert interviews. As a result, one of the hypothesis about the positive dynamic of E-sports journalism has been confirmed, but the other two – about the main problem and it’s development in traditional mass media, have been proven to be wrong.
