Methods of Popularisation of Russian Space Program in Native Media

This study is intended to reveal the ways of popularization of Russian Space program in national mass media. The field study will analyze traditional investigations of science popularization within the framework suggested and work out a fundamentally new approach to the issue. It will not only help to explore in detail the current state of the phenomenon studied, but to provide the base for the future elaboration of methodology of popularization of national space program considering its specific features. This project will review classical and contemporary approaches to the theory of scientific communication. Following this, their application in the field of popularization of Russian space program will be analyzed. For this purpose a wide range of media stuff has been/ is to be / will be examined. This approach is believed to indicate and bring to the foreground available but underestimated and therefore not currently implemented ways of popularization. Presumably, most of them will be found in the field of art rather than in the field of mass media. Being of practical orientation the data obtained will be of crucial importance in crisis conditions.
