To reveal the specifications of this image I analyze language and poetics of these works. Particular places of Moscow and their connection with different heroes of Pasternak’s oeuvre is be taken into consideration. Particular attention is drawn to the problem of Pasternak’s attitude towards the Russian Revolution and the question how this attitude changed in time is answered. In addition to this, the research shows correspondence between images of revolutionary Moscow and revolutionary Paris from previous novels, dedicated to revolutions.
