Today there is an annual increase in the number of children with disabilities in Russia and St. Petersburg, as well as growth in demand for educational organisations for this category of children. There are problems of management of social and educational assistance to children with disabilities in the general secondary education system of St. Petersburg, the principal of which is the lack of quality assessment system provides social and educational assistance to children with disabilities. The aim of the research is the development of theoretical and practical substantiation of proposals for improving the management of social and educational assistance to children with disabilities in the general education system of the region. The scientific novelty of the research is to develop the project "Assessment of socialization of children with disabilities in terms of the State budget organisation of secondary education school number 499 Krasnogvardeyskiy district of St. Petersburg." The author has developed a system of criteria assessing the level of socialization of children with disabilities, which is a system of assessing the level of socialization of children with disabilities for the accreditation of educational programs implemented by an educational institution; It determines the level of socialization of students and is the basis for their certification by the end of the school; defines vocational guidance of students in accordance with their abilities, aptitudes, personal characteristics, with the needs of society in the region in the frames. Validity and reliability of the results of the thesis author confirmed using primary statistical data obtained in the course of experimental work, processing and analysis using Statistica SASJMP 10 and 10 application packages.
