Government Control Quality System for Food as an Element of Food Security

Quality control of food is a priority of a homeland security which influences life and health of the population. The state monitoring system shall conform to modern standards and tendencies in the food sphere for ensuring food security of the country. The quality control system of products of food in the Russian Federation does not correspond to the principles of food security established by the doctrine of food security of Russia today. In case of research methods of the analysis of statistical and reporting documentation of state bodies of quality control have been applied, the analysis of domestic and international standard and legal and technical documentation is carried out, and also field survey of complaint books of shops of Perm is conducted. As a result of research new criteria and indicators of product quality of food which were not applied in the Russian practice earlier have been allocated. New problems have been delivered and alternative methods of their decision are developed. Weaknesses of a quality control system of food from the point of view of the international experience are also considered. Results of research can be used in practical work with control facilities of quality and agents of the market of food products.
