Fazil Iskander's “A Chick's Childhood”: Creative History, Poetics and the Context

The aim of this project is to examine in detail the book of F. Iskander "The Chick's Childhood" and several early childhood stories, that at the present moment do not represent a singe whole (text). This project attempts to describe the writer's conception about "The Chick's Childhood", a better understanding of which is provided by comparison between this book and early children's prose. Also, the study shows the evolution of the main character of the book "The Chick's Childhood", the evolution of the author and the evolution of the main concepts of Iskander's children's prose ( "laughter", "enemies").
