While fanfiction studies usually define fanfiction as a phenomena of participatory culture, academics stress its interactive nature in context of fan community. Relations between fandoms and professional producers are reduced to commercial and legal aspects. This diploma is a try to find out the part of fan labor in modern cultural industries by the example of "Sherlock" series.
