The Genesis of Russian Сriminal Discourse in State Print Media of the Late 1980s-1990s

In this paper we consider the problem of the development of criminal discourse in the Central print media on the material of the newspaper "Moskovsky Komsomolets" in the period from 1985 to 1999. The object of study is the criminal discourse in print media the second half of the 1980s and 1990s. the hypothesis of the study lies in the assumption that the Soviet press did not exist (or barely existed) references to criminal events and narratives, one way or another referring to the area of crime. Under the influence of several factors (changing the role of print media in the middle. 80s, reforms aimed at achieving freedom of speech, the appearance of class power entrepreneurs and practices associated with the lifestyle of a new class), criminal subject penetrates into the Newspapers, causing the production of the language in which it becomes possible to speak (and write) about the crime. The main objectives of the study is to development of criminal discourse (on the material issues of the newspaper “Moskovsky Komsomolets”), which includes the analysis of different forms taken by discourse.
