Development of a Browser Extension for a Foreign Language Learning

The goal of this bachelor work is to develop a Google Chrome browser extension which acts as a supplementary software for a mobile application for studying of foreign words. As a preparation for the development of the system the following tasks were completed: analysis of the existing solutions with similar functionality or solving similar problems and justification of the choice of an architecture, software and hardware solutions for the developed system. The result of this work is a system, which consists of two parts. The browser extension (client) translates words selected on any webpage and suggests relevant words for user to study from the currently viewed page. The server stores history of words translated by user and processes client requests.
