Brand Promotion of Industrial City in Social Networks

This master's dissertation is devoted aspects of the branding of industrial city in social networks. Promotion in social networks is very useful for city brands, because it is very affordable and cheap tool of internet marketing. So, this tool can help to find the different segments of target audience and generate advertising messages to them. Advantages of this tool are a cheap contact price, ease of assessing the effectiveness and speed of interaction. This work reveals aspects of Izhevsk city branding in social networks. The study found that at the moment there are some problems with the positioning of the brand in Izhevsk in social networks, including the lack of uniform official page of the city, where residents and tourists can get all necessary information; incompleteness of the information about the city, and, as a consequence, not the satisfaction of needs of the audience for information about the city; chaotic structure of communities. On the basis of the results or this research and obtained with the objectives and strategic development objectives of Izhevsk proposed promoting the concept of social networks, suggesting the solution of existing problems and allows you to broadcast various aspects of the brand's various segments of the target audience. This concept can be used as a basis for the development of programs of promotion of the brand, including for other major industrial cities.
