Constructing the Image of a Soviet Scientist: A Formal Analysis of Obituaries in Russian Scientific Periodicals (1918–1991)

The following research is devoted to sociology of sciences studies, particularly to the study of the image of Soviet Biologists and Soviet Physicists through obituaries. During the research there were some assigned tasks made such as formation of data set, data analysis of collected data by dint of Topic modeling and frequency text analysis. The following work carried out some results which are: soviet scientists contributed their lives to science and social activities. The research should be continued to study as there is data only for biologists and physicists, however, scientists of other spheres of science should also be taken into account. Additionally, there was only Soviet period analyzed though there should be also researched prerevolutionary and contemporary Russian periods.
