It is required to interpret his principle of Sophianism as Eternal Feminine to reveal the role of love within his sophiology. Current paper also provides future researches with essential Western European philosophical context that a lot influenced the formation of Solovyov's concepts. As philosophical background works of St. Augustine, Schelling, Comte and Schopenhauer were analyzed conceptually. Moreover, It is claimed here that this context contains ideas within the field of Philosophy of love that affected Solovyov's own notion of love. So this work is divided into two parts in order to describe philosophical context and Solovyov's ideas and also to tie these ideas up with Western European philosophical tradition. Original writings of mentioned authors and recent investigations on the topic serve as theoretical base of the research. As a result, in his doctrine Solovyov claimed that love gathers people as a whole and reunites it with God and this idea contains ideas of western European philosophers. Current research enriches knowledge in history of philosophy and, especially, in philosophy of love. Due to findings of this thesis paper the impact of European tradition is observed in that of Russia, so, it can be assumed as philosophical reflection and inheritance.
