The Ethic of War as a Subject of Game Studies

This study is focused on the existing theoretical approaches to researching ethics problems provided by modern video games as tools for mediating ethical values The main purpose of this research is to inquire the role of the video games in present time as a medium and a source of ethical values at the same time identifying the state of a player as a recipient and originator of moral rules. It would be claimed video games are excellent models for using by applied ethics. Methodology of research is to examine the most prevalent and prominent theoretical approaches of investigation on the given topic, mostly in the framework of game studies.
