The concept of State in the Context of Eurasianism – the Russian Philosophical Thought of the XX Century

The objective of the research is to give a definition of state from the point of view of Eurasians. There was formed and determined terminology, which was used by authors; and there was also carried out an analysis of ideas of Eurasian movement and views of Slavophiles. There were distinguished similar properties and differences. To define the main idea of state for Eurasians, analysis of development of the movement on three stages was made. A view of Eurasians on some historic events was also considered. In the course of the work such concepts as “topogenesis”, “ideocracy”, “multinational personality” were defined. Some problematic aspects and contradictions in views of some authors were found out which gave ground to claim about insolvency of the concept of state in the context of political sciences. However, some aspects which are of scientific value were deduced, such as the definition of the concept “ideocracy”. There was established a value hierarchy regarding the understanding of state with moral aspect being of the greatest importance. It was found out that views of Eurasians on the concept of state had a cultural and philosophical value.
