The aim of the study is to develop recommendations to strengthen the practice-oriented education by improving the system of interaction between the executive authorities and career development centers. In accordance with the purpose, the main objectives are: first, to describe the training system for future public servants and determine the place of their education in undergraduate training; secondly, to analyze the role of the career development centers in development of practical skills and competencies of bachelors and to improve the mechanism of their interaction with the executive authorities. As a result, some recommendations to strengthen the practice-oriented education in state and municipal management by improving the system of interaction between the executive authorities and career development centers were developed.
