Android Client for PvP Turn-Based Strategy "Mosaic" Game

Since the first release of Android OS the amount of games available on the Google Play store has been rocketing. However, there is still a lack of games, which users can play together online. The goal of this paper is to not only popularize and facilitate for development of online mobile games, but also give developers some architectural insights about building flexible and maintainable Android applications. The “Mosaic” mobile game client for Android platform is a result of applying such techniques. In addition, the design techniques proposed in this work may be used successfully in various kinds of mobile clients. The paper contains 40 pages, 3 chapters, 9 illustrations, 1 table, 27 bibliography items and 4 appendices. Keywords: android; game client; mobile client architecture.
