The Role of Direct and Virtual Communication in Students Employment

The topic of my research is “The role of virtual and direct communication”. The process of job search evolves over recent years. In particular, requirements and expectations to the employee have been changed, as well as the process of hiring itself. The objects of the study are the students on the labor market. The main purpose of the research is to illustrate how essential for students are their social connections and how they can influence on the employment. In this regards the objects of my research are: 1. To analyze theoretical and methodological approaches to 2. To find out the dependence between mutual relations and the results of employment. 3. To understand he strategy of job searching via social connections. 4. To determine whether the social capital has a huge impact on further employment of student. The period of the research include 3 years: 2012, 2013, and 2014. The number of the observations varies every year - 1854 in 2012, 1602 in 2013 and 1228 in 2014. The result is following: The social capital is the most widely spread channel of the search. Friends and acquaintances, which are included in social capital, have the biggest impact on results of the employment (satisfaction with financial conditions, satisfaction with terms of career and the full time job ).
