The State Policy of Income Distribution: the Dilemma of Efficiency and Equity

This graduation project deals with theoretical issues of income formation and the state policy of income redistribution and analysis of the redistributive policies effectiveness in some countries, including the Russian Federation, through the comparison of the main indicators of living standards. The prerequisite for this graduation project was the current state of the economy, characterized by the instability of economic development, accompanied by the uneven distribution of income and the need to evaluate the effectiveness of government policy. The aim is to identify the factors that determine the formation of the state policy in the sphere of population income redistribution in different socio-economic conditions. The graduation project includes: introduction, two chapters, conclusion, bibliography and applications. The first chapter deals with theoretical issues of income redistribution. The second chapter deals with issue of state policy formation. In conclusion, results of the graduation project and some recommendations are described.
