Market Analysis of the Hotel Industry in St. Petersburg and Development of Capsule Hotel Business Plan

In economic crisis conditions, more tourists are searching for a low-cost accommodation. It is commonly believed that budget accommodations represent dormitory rooms where prices usually do not match the living conditions. The present proposal will change the idea about cheap accommodation inculcating the capsule hotel in the local market. The business project will partly promote the development of tourism in St. Petersburg, Russia. The paper focused on the creation of the new enterprise – the hotel with the capsule system. Nevertheless, the most significant idea of this project is the brief presentation of the most important business plan’s parts of the organization. The market analysis section identifies the main competitors in the St. Petersburg budget hotel market. The organizational plan contains an organizational chart demonstrating general departments of the enterprise. For the investment attractiveness assessment without a calculation of any financial indicators, the plan of business risks is conducted based on results from the methodological part.
