Effective Interaction Between Manager and Subordinates: Technologies of Developing Synergy. A Case Study of OJSC "Tele2-St. Petersburg"

In this paper, there is an attempt to determine the level of employee engagement and its dependence on the leadership style and social facilitation , as well as the efficiency of interaction between managers and subordinates on the case study of the company " Tele2 - St. Petersburg " at the department of corporate business development . The main method of data collection is to conduct a survey compiled by taking into account all relevant factors that have affect on the involvement of employees. Therefore, the objective of this work is to develop technologies of superior-subordinate synergy that lead company to success. To achieve this objective, it was relevant to complete the following tasks: – To examine theoretical background of superior-subordinate relationships and synergy; – To conduct the survey among staff and superiors; – To analyze the empirical data; – Offer recommendations to improve superior-subordinate relationships The collected data showed that though the superiors from the corporate sales department have the democratic leadership style and there are good conditions for work, the level of employees’ involvement is not high. At the end of the paper the list of recommendations was offered, which can help to increase the synergy between superiors and subordinates.
