Information Systems and Technology
A tendency to growth of massive open online courses and to transfer parts of in-class courses to Internet gains popularity. Necessity of automation of those classes assignments evaluation is obvious: firstly, online courses have large audiences and instructors could not manage with manual evaluation in this situation, secondly, automation of in-class courses evaluation left more time for teacher to prepare to classes and work with students and also it excludes a human factor from assignments assessment. Presented work describes a process of development and integration of evaluation scripts for massive open online course “Computer Graphics: The Basics” on Stepic.org platform and a process of developments and approbation of a prototype of evaluation system for in-class “Videotechnologies” course. The analysis of results that shows the applicability of used methods is provided.
