Universal Transaction Support Program Library for Relational and Object Data Models

This work is dedicated to the communication between object and relational data models in distributed systems. The modern approaches of distributed systems development such as remote interaction technologies are evaluated. Besides the analysis of relational database access methods including object-relational mapping is conducted. This work scopes on simultaneous usage of object and relational data models by means of the remote interaction technologies and object-relational mapping. The aim of the work is to develop a program library for transaction support between relational and object data models. The paper contains 21 pages, 3 chapters, 3 illustrations, 15 bibliography items, 4 appendices. Keywords: transaction support, ORM, remote interaction, distributed objects.
