Big Data Systems
(Master’s programme)
2016
The basic and the main task of recommendation systems is to enhance customer loyalty to products or services of the company through personal recommendations based on preliminary analysis of the preferences of customers. Such systems are already widespread among many online resources. Many online stores, music storage and movies, bookstores, social media, tour operators and hotel services offer their customers a variety of products pushing from what might be interesting to this client at the moment. However recommendatory industry slightly penetrated into the banking sector. Reasons are many and the nature of their origin is different. At a time when the problem of the fight for customers between the two companies is particularly acute, and the development of IT technologies in the banks no longer seems like a waste of money, banks are beginning to think about how to organize the work with customers so that customer satisfaction from bank products was maximum. For organizations such as banks are extremely important to understand that would like to get potential clients of the bank (not necessarily new), and to recognize this need early than major competitors, and sometimes even before the customers themselves.

This paper offers a practical embodiment of such a system in the bank, taking into account the specifics of the field. And also speculated about what would be in the long term could be improved in this approach.
