Features of Work with Youth at the Municipal Level (the Сase of the Сity of Tver)

State youth policy as a separate direction has developed recently, that is why, its legal and regulatory, institutional and administrative framework is still emerging. Currently, a large role in the implementation of youth policy igiven to local self-government, because it is the municipal authorities are able to develop the most effective tools for achieving the objectives set at the federal level, taking into account the characteristics and needs of young people of a particular municipality. Despite the fact that there are positive tends in the work of Youth bodies, there are still many unsolved issues, which do not contribute to achieving the desired result. This is due to the fact that the mechanisms developed due to various factors are not always adequate to the tasks. The research paper aimes to identify the problems of the youth policy’ implementation at the municipal level. The research methodology includes conducting interviews with experts that work with young people at the municipal level. Based on the identified problems during the interview, recommendations that will allow to improve the implementation of the youth policy in the municipality were carried out.
