Educational Programme: Applied Mathematics and Information Science (Bachelor)

Year of Graduation: 2016

In recent years, researches in the areas of International Economics and International Political Economy come to the forefront. Therefore, the scientists attempt to form research methodology of international economic relations, including computer-tools. As a result, it was reflected into the creation of such scientific disciplines as Computational Economics. Computer simulation has become the main tool, and the related with it new scientific direction "Agent-based Computational Economics" (ACE), which develops the methodology of computer modeling studies of economic processes in the form of dynamic systems of interacting agents. In this work will be presented an overview of the methods of mathematical modeling of International Economic Relations, an overview of the work on the ACE, clarified the basic principles of Agent-based Simulation Models, clarified principles of model development in AnyLogic environment, moreover a simple model of economic relations between the two countries is provided. At the moment, the Multi-agent Model of International Economic Relations is in the process of testing and verification, that in the future will allow through a series of experiments to identify the key performance indicators that affect the dynamics of the model, as well as create a strategy for the management of commodity turnover between the two countries.
