Year of Graduation: 2016

This paper describes the stages of designing intelligent building management system based on KNX protocol, including the management of major engineering subsystems such as lighting system, climate-control and floor-heating system, a system of curtains. For the development of this project different system designing protocols were analyzed and the main benefits of creation of intelligent systems were described. The principle of operation of KNX Protocol, methods, network configurations and configuration capabilities were studied in detail. The choice of this standard for design were justified. Full element base for creation of an installation was selected that included power supply, logic modules, actuators and sensors. Detailed design and development of all subsystems were reviewed. Additionally, a functional interface was created to demonstrate this installation.
