Business Modelling of Logistics Centers

In modern conditions the customers’ requirements for the quality of transport and logistics service are constantly increasing. The global trends of international integration, development of infrastructure of transport corridors and global supply chains make logistics centers an important link in global macrologistical systems, emphasizing the relevance of the topic. The aim of the thesis is the implementation of conceptual approaches to business modeling of logistics centers on a practical example describing components of the business model. This paper analyzes the theoretical principles related to the formation and operation of logistics centers, also reviewed the operation of logistics centers practice in Russia and abroad. The existing provisions on modeling logistics centers are reviewed. The expediency of the formation of a logistics center in the Omsk region is substantiated. A description of the components of the business model of the logistics center in relation to the analyzed project is given. The main objects of the functional circuit are determineв, as well as the variety of services provided by the objects under construction. A model of organizational and functional structure of the logistics center in terms of the format of public-private partnership is designed, the mechanism of distribution of profit among the project participants is provided. Operating efficiency indicators identified payback period are defined for the first stage of the logistics center facilities. The volume of the master's thesis: 93 pages, 24 figures, 21 tables, 56 references, 2 applications on 9 pages.
