Web Application for Tourist Walking Routes Plotting

This paper dedicated to tourist walking routes planning. Existing services for trip planning are presented. Strengths and weaknesses of these services are examined and were used as starting point for new approach development. Problems connected with implementation of the described approach are discussed and possible solutions are found. The aim of the work is to develop a web-application for tourist walking routes planning. A route consists of stops in locations of outdoor points of interest. The web-application is available for the end user via internet browser on both, desktop and mobile platforms. The application provides user with the route for walking trip which can be generated manually or automatically according to starting and ending points, along with time constraint. The paper contains 31 pages, 3 chapters, 6 illustrations, 36 bibliography items, 4 appendices.
