Tower Defense (Eng towers to protect.), Abbreviated as TD - the name of the strategic genre of computer games. The main goal of the player in games of this genre - destroy the advancing enemies, referred to as in some games "creeps" (from the English creep up, creeping creature.), Until such time as they reach the end of the map, using the tools at its disposal for the construction of the towers, which their attack when creeps are near the player's towers. Features and costs what makes the difference between the creeps and towers. When the creep dies, the player earns a special currency or points, which in the future will be used to buy or improve towers. Competent choice of towers and their location - an integral part of a strategic game. Usually creeps are moving through a maze that gives the player the possibility of strategic tower locations on the game map, but there are also specific versions of games that are called linear "Tower Defense", which uses the direct path instead of the labyrinth that gives the player to enjoy all the charm of the strategic genre. In some versions of the game, the player can build a maze of towers and blocks. Just did a version of the game, I want to implement.
