Post-Crisis Strategies of Real-Estate Developers in Russia and the USA after 2008

The issue of vital importance for developers in the real estate market in the post-crisis period after 2008 is choosing a strategy. Before the crisis the real estate development business was stable, profitable and prestigious. But the year of 2008 contaminated all the optimistic illusions: the real estate market was to the same extent vulnerable as the stock market and financial market. Developers and real estate companies had a massive wage cuts. Certainly, this sphere reacts to crises, and the risk of income reduction in difficult times is very high as well. And consequently, many real estate developers faced the challenge of promptly implementing crisis management plans and searching for a strategy serving as a launch pad for their future boost, as well asa competitive strategy based on the branch competition analysis being the effective method to solve the problem. So, it is important to choose successful strategies.
