The Economic Adaptation to the New (Market) Conditions of 'Soviet People' Generation
The paper is aimed at studying the economic adaptation models of the population to the new conditions formed in post-Soviet Russia. The study is based on thefoundation of the theory of adaptation and socialization in conjuction with the "cohort effect". Within the framework of the study 19 semi-structured interwies were conducted, during which there wass discussed the behaviour of the population before and after the perestroika, identifies and typologized in four strategies: innovators, going with the stream, collective copiers and nostalgic opponents.
