The Development of Measuring Model of Entrepreneurial University's Corporate Culture

Research is devoted to the development and testing of methods for measuring the characteristics of corporate culture in the model of entrepreneurial university. Within its framework was grounded conceptual model of measuring corporate culture in the approach by D. Denison and corporate approach to the management of the University. Also there were developed tools and measurement procedures of corporate culture segments of the university which was tested in a particular case.

On the basis of the case-study methodological strategy there was conducted a quantitative online survey of 400 academic workers and administration stuff, as well as 189 students in the certain university.

During testing of the developed method on a particular case of the corporate culture profiles were constructed for the main groups of internal stakeholders. These profiles show the different corporate culture segments, illustrating the positive and negative areas of university's corporate culture perception. This enabled to quick characterize the current state of the university's corporate culture from the standpoint of its internal stakeholders. With the help of the developed methods were identified existing problem areas and the existing resources of the university, as well as enhanced understanding of the functioning of the corporate culture of the organization in relation to the entrepreneurial university model. Since the developed method allows to segment employees of the university with respect to the maximum and minimum estimates profiles, provided a representative survey of university employees by that method can get more detailed information about the individual departments and individual social groups of the University.
