Syntactic Analysis in Speech Recognition

This work is intended for researching the appropriateness of syntactic analysis for improving the quality of russian speech recognition systems. The paper describes the main components of the recognition systems and common approaches to syntactic analysis. Also was considered the general approaches for using of syntactic analysis to improve the quality of speech recognition systems found in the literature. The numerical result evaluation of the analysis was developed by using syntactic N-gram model. The experimental results demonstrate that using syntactic analyzing might be improved the quality of the speech recognition system. The proposed approach is a common enough to make use it in a speech recognition system for all languages.
