Health Beliefs and Health Behavior of Doctors in Moscow: the Economic Sociology Lenses

Doctors are considered experts in the field of health, and all are perceived as people who know how to properly maintain and monitor their health. The aim of the proposal study is to explore the attitude to health among doctors, as far as they are the category of people who should treat their own health very seriously by the assumption. In order to make the explanation of doctors’ attitudes to their own health the qualitative research design will be applied. The interpretation of data gathered through in-depth interviews with medical works is expected to show their high involvement in personal care and healthy lifestyle.
