Currently, there are some problems with the perception of the image of the sociologist, based on stereotypes and the "vagueness" of his activities. In this study, we are interested in how the image of a sociologist is formed, as a result of a close acquaintance with sociology and sociologists activities. Thus, there is a need to compare the perception of the image of a sociologist at the high school seniors and graduates of the educational program "Sociology". The solution of the problem was carried out by means of correspondence analysis, supported by the theoretical basis -. Identified by the method of triads by J. Kelly - personal constructs. This complex method allows to say that we got the perception of space close to the real, as they are based on the value orientations of the respondents regarding the university specialties. Our study demonstrated that both applicants and graduates do not have enough ideas to correctly identify, describe the image of the sociologist. Thus, the image of the sociologist is blurred and unclear.
