Image of Future Profession and Choice of Educational Program Specialization among High-School Students: Reasons and Consequences (the Case of Art School №548)

This study is aimed to explore the social reasons of the choice of artistic educational program specialization and artistic profession in the future. The method used is called case-study and due to that method the phenomenon of choosing wittingly tough and unprofitable specialization which requires both time and money is inspected considering the example of pupils and graduates of art-school №548. The study demonstrated high degree of interest of the respondents in arts and allowed to evaluate the influence of integrated educational system on academic progress of high-school students, their art skills and a desire to continue their education in the sphere of arts.
