Determinants of Russian Households' Expenditures on Leisure Services

Thу study investigates the determinants of Russian households' expenditures on leisure services. Discriminant modeling reveales the relative contribution of socio-demographic, economic, cultural and value orientation variables to intergroup differences of households which spend and do not spend money on leisure services. The empirical basis of the study are the data of the Russian Longitudinal Monitoring Survey (RLMS), and the study "What do the Russians dream about: ideal and reality," conducted by the the Institute of Sociology of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
