The purpose of this work was to explore variables related to social status and determine what kind of them have an influence on the level of protest mood in Russian society. For this reason, the general research perspective is quantitative and focuses on secondary data which includes a survey of people with higher education, conducted by VSIOM. My research is on the stage of development. In other words, I can present only tentative results. The practical outcome of my work is my academic activity. The result which is valid for my research is careful selection of literature relating to the subject of this research. The project will have some theoretical implications when the researcher selects carefully the secondary data for the analysis. The results will be reported accurately and objectively.
