Transformation of Meanings Amateur Photography in the Social Media Space on the Example of Instagram

The purpose of the study was to display the effect on photography meanings such phenomenon in social networks as « the orientation of photography on mass of recipient», « the creation of identity through photography» and «the emergence of social approval». To achieve this goal were involved qualitative methods of data collection and analysis in which in-depth interviews were analyzed using instrumental foundations of grounded theory. As a result the actual functions and actual meanings of photography were identified.
