This research is devoted to a problem of 3D reconstruction and possibilities to apply Android orientation sensors data to improve the quality of the produced models. In scope of the research the exploration of existing approaches has been performed and the tasks requiring solution has been determined. The passive stereo approach has been chosen for in-depth investigation. This approach requires several complicated issues to be solved before the reconstruction itself can be done. The paper covers developed techniques of matching correspondence points between images, building a epipolar relationship, building a 3D point cloud and applicability of Android gyroscope sensor to this approach.
