Modern Libertarian Parties: Comparative Perspective

This paper discusses the modern libertarian parties in Belgium, Germany, Great Britain, France, Italy, Spain, Russia and the United States in comparative perspective. In course of our research we made a comparative analysis of libertarian parties of the countries of Euro-Christian civilization and were found the general and special in selected programs of libertarian parties. The problem of research is related to changes in the principles and concepts of libertarianism as a political ideology, falling within the context of different countries: Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Russia, Spain, Great Britain and United States. The research is based on the comparative analysis method and political discourse analysis method, which helps us to compare libertarian parties on 18 criteria and identify general and special in programs of selected political parties, to find out how and to what extent libertarian ideology is transformed in the context of different countries.
